ARTIST'S PROOFS
The limit of prints produced (300) may also include an additional number
(usually 5% - 10%) of artist1s proofs. (300 + 30 A.P.) These are part of the
production run. Usually, at least 500 to 600
prints are produced, and, of these, only 330 are 1culled1 and signed by the
artist, the remainder being destroyed under his close supervision. He will
sign and mark 30 A.P. for his personal collection and may offer some of them
for sale to collectors.

THE LIMITED EDITION PRINT
A Collectair Limited Editions print is a fine art quality reprodutction of
the artist1s original oil painting. Each is published in a single limited
edition, numbered and stamped with the Collectair seal and individually
signed by Piotr Górka. A numbered and signed certificateis issued with every
print to guarantee the total edition size and authenticity. The prints are
unmounted and sent to you securely in strong postal tubes.

REMARQUED PRINTS
This term applies to an original sketch in pencil added to a print margin by
the artist. It usually has an association with the theme and greatly enhances the value of the print,
since each sketch is an original to which the artist adds his additional signature and often the
date completed. They are especially prized by collectors for their personal touch and extreme rarity.

VIRTUTI MILITARY

The Order of Virtuti Military (Latin for 'Military Virtue'), established
in 1792 has been the highest Polish military award. This little silver,
golden, or dark-enamelled cross, with the simple words 'VIRTUTI
MILITARI' is the oldest military order existing to date in the world. It
is awarded by the Chapter of the Virtuti Militari Order in recognition
of outstanding deeds in combat.
